Foreclosures Up 49%
October 25, 2021 at 9:00am | Mac Rogers
foreclosure moratorium of 2021(mortgage forbearance 2021) is over. Will the housing market crash in 2022?
This housing market by far is one of the hottest markets in US history. Home prices are up double digits every month year over year. But things are changing. No doubt you've probably seen on the news that things are cooling off. And even probably seen
the most recent headline that says foreclosure starts are up 49% over the last year.
There are no more mortgage forbearance extension. Expect to see that the number of foreclosures will be up in the next couple of months. For the record, this is not a 'when is the next housing crash prediction". Rather a look at the numbers and putting
everything in context.
